Backward Flap magazine pouches are characterized by an unusual approach to ergonomics of magazine extraction and its protection balance. Their unique design allows them to be quickly drawn both from the closed and open position, when the elastic cord compresses them, giving them additional protection against falling out. Closing the pocket gives full protection of the magazine against its loss, while opening it does not result in any element standing in the way of its smooth extraction, wherever reaction time is crucial. Due to the design solutions used, both the opening and closing of the pocket is repetitive and intuitive. The unusual design of the pouch flap and the lack of a schematic, common appearance gives minimal protection against the seizure of magazines by unauthorized persons.
